Our first Christmas tree is officially decorated! It has 1,150 colored lights on it and lots of ornaments! In the process of putting the lights on it, we ran out - so I took the colored lights that were on the railing upstairs off and then that wasn't enough, so I took the lights that were on the mantle off... and finally enough! So after decorating, I had to put new lights on both those places - white ones this time - but I think it totally works!

Looks great. I really wanted to do colored lights, but we have LOTS of white lights, some that were NEW, so we saved our money and used the white ones!!! I think the railing and mantle look good in white. It separates them from the main event..the tree!!
