First swim of the year

The girls were so excited that it was going to be warm and we were going to get to swim in our pool.

And boy is it going to be a fun summer. Greta has gotten much better and more confident. And Lola - well that girl has no fear and loves the water!

Lola 21 months

Another month older and more fun!  Lola's developing quite the little personality.  She is normally pretty easy going and smiley, as long as you stay on her good side.

1. Lots of new words - mine, orange, house,
2. Loves, loves, loves to sing.  Her favorite song is happy birthday but she loves to sing "He's got the whole world" - her favorite verse is when she gets to say Papa.  Her face just lights up.
3. She has little fear, especially when swimming.  Just jumps right in.
4. Loves books.  Her favorite one right now is Little Cub.
5. Wants to do everything herself and will tell you "Do it" and point to herself.
6. Love cheering for anything, especially Karle and Kahle
7. Bubbles and water are her 2 favorite things to play with.
8. Is finally starting to like milk
9. Wants to do everything Greta does.
10. Loves being outside and driving the tractor or on the 4-wheeler.

Just can't wait to see what the new few months have in store for my sweet Lola!

New backyard fun

After our first playset had a horrible demise in the wind storm, the search was on for a new one. And Ryan found a great one from a family in Saline. It is no joke and is huge. In the upstairs part Ryan can stand up!

After looking at it, Ryan asked what I though. And I said if you can move it - go for it! And mission accomplished.

So then after getting back - he had another great idea! Let's turn the old one into a play house. So thanks to Ians help again. Mission accomplished! And the girls loved it!! Now I just need to find a little kitchen to put in it.

Can't wait for the play set to get set back up now. It's in the barn while ryan preps the area.

Power trip to Fort Wayne

A quick trip to Fort Wayne to see the Delaney clan but so worth it. We left after soccer on Saturday and stayed until about noon on Sunday. Greta had been talking the entire week about how excited she was to play with Colin and Evan. And play they did. I think one or two of them were hiding the entire time we were there with a serious game of hide and seek.

I just love watching them play and talk together. Even Lola wanted to get in one the big kid action.

Can't wait to do it again.
