Greta’s graduation

Today was a big day for Greta...

First she graduated from Safety Town.  I highly recommend this program.  Greta has learned so many valuable lessons and she even knows my phone number know!  How awesome is that!  She got to learn about fire safety and go into a smoke house and learn how to get out - bus safety, police and ambulance, crossing the road and more.

Then she finally graduated from Pre-K.  Such a proud but emotional moment. This fall she will start kindergarten and then the fun begins.  But to me this also means really releasing my baby into the school world.  Up until know, I felt pretty in control of what happened.  She had only 17 other kids in her class and I knew them all and a lot of their parents.  She had besties that she has gone to school with since she was a baby.

It was finally time for Gretas graduation - and she did great! She sang all the songs. Walked around stage. Sat nicely on her seat.

So hard to believe that I’m just a couple short months - she’ll be in kindergarten. Greta is excited - I am nervous and anxious for her. So hopefully that’s how it will stay. I want her to be confident.  She's smart.  A leader.  She's my baby and I love watching her grow up - just won't want to rush it!

Oh my Lola

Sometimes I don't even have words for Lola and how sweet and silly she is.  She is definitely going to keep us on our toes.  I can't believe in just over a month she is going to be 3!  Yikes - where has time gone.

My Little Lola Fish

So at swimming lessons, I know Lola could swim a little bit.  Well tonight I finally convinced her to take off her swimming and do some swimming.  Between Greta and I - I would say it was a success!

Check it out!

Emma's Graduation Party

The last family high school graduation - as least of our cousins.  The kids - all 4 of them - and I headed to the party to meet mom and Uncle David.   Despite the rain and I mean RAIN - we had a great time.  The girls were super excited that K&K got to have a sleep over!

Best friend visit

Even though we don't get to see each other much, it's so great to spend a few days enjoying each others company and also watching the kids play and have so much fun.  For them, its great because they only see each other and talk once a year but it's like nothing.  They have a great time.

From swimming to playing to mommy shopping trips and fun with the nanny - we had a blast!  So much love!

Cousin Photoshoot

Oh the fun of trying to get a picture with all 5 kids from 6 months to almost 13... I took on the challenge and thanks to the power of Photoshop - I succeeded!

Here's a few of the outtakes - HAHAHAAA!

Crafty Dad at Ruth LAKKE

At Dad's cabin - he made sign for everyone to document the trails - so this year I decided to document it with a picture and then plan to take new ones each year or at least every 2 years.

Also realized we are missing 2 signs (Ryan and Scott) so Dad said he's fix that!
