Halloween 2021

Another Halloween with pumpkin carving, trick or treating, school and friends parties and lots of fun!

First we painted pumpkins and then girls did a great job carving their pumpkins - they sketched it out and did almost all the carving themselves. Daddy helped scoop the guts out… of mine too!

Happy Halloween!!

Nora 20 months

Time flies when you’re having fun and Nora definitely has fun. She sweet, silly and knows what she wants. 

1. Talking up a storm and loves to repeat your words

2. Loves he baby dolls - especially patting them on the back and putting them down for naps

3. Sings twinkle; twinkle little star

4. Loves to dance and can now shake her hips back and forth

5: Squeals ah the sight of the cats

6. Squeals when she sees anyone in the family after being away from them for a while

7. Jumps at the chance to go outside 

8. Is the best cuddler and gives the best kisses 

9. Loves riding on the tractor with daddy or in the little gator with her sisters 

10. Is a mamas girl and can find me no matter where I am in the house 

11. Loves climbing the stairs… loves it even more when she know she isn’t supposed to and can sneak up

Fall Fun

Nanny was home fir fall break so we invited her to join the girls and I at the apple orchard and corn maze down the road from us. 

So much fun was had! Giant slides, a corn maze that we made it out of, tube slides, bouncy houses, apple canyoning, feeding goats and alpacas, going on a hay ride  and of course eating amazing donuts! 

Lola’s favorite was definitely feeding the goats.

Greta Bible Day at Church

In third grade at our church, you get a bible. Greta has been so excited about this when I started to tell her. We did a 3 week class together at church were she learned about the Bible and the books and how to use it. She loved it. 

And after listening to the books of the Bible song a lot of times… she knows almost all of them. 

Then on today, she was given her Bible at church. Proud mom moment but also you could see the pride in her face as well. And I loved every minute of that. 

Soccer

Half way through the season and we’ve had some good game and a few rough ones. Both girls have gotten lots better. 

Greta - super aggressive and takes nothing from anyone no matter their size... and she’s far from the biggest kid on the field. Loves to score. And is getting better at passing. Also great defender.

Lola - has great ball handling skills and is getting more confident every game. She’s going to be a force to reckon with next year I’m sure. She has even practiced with Gretas team a couple times (perk of your mom coaching both teams).

Fun Run at Harvest

Girls had a great time at the Fun Run at school. It was a Greta hour that they got to have fun with their friends and celebrate meeting their fundraising goal.

Such a big girl

Nora just wants to be a big girl. She wants to help so much and is always trying to do things the big girls do. 

She carried all the girls bags and lunch boxes to the front door for them.
