Body Coach

So my side job at Seung-Ni has also allowed me to be a body challenge coach.  Part of this is encouraging and coaching participants to reach their goals in the 8 week challenge.  Last night, I had a proud coach moment.  A girl in the challenge (even though not on my team but has been in almost all my classes) showed me her before picture and then a recent one.  She was wearing a bikini and the difference was like night and day.  She has lost over 25 pounds and lots of inches.  The smile on her face made all the efforts totally worth it.  I remember being in her shoes and wanting to lose the weight and until Seung-ni, I really couldn't do it on my own.  Now I have the tools to lose it and keep it off and now to help others - which is very rewarding.  This particular girl told me that she never thought she could do it and she did!!  It just shows that anyone can do it, you just need to be in the right mindset.

Snow

Well I'm not sure why I listen to the weather man... you can expect a light dusting... yeah -  inches later and it's still snowing!  I think I need to start getting up earlier on the mornings I teach... what's earlier than 4:55 am though!!  Ugh!  But luckily I made it today at 5:58 (oops - class starts at 6:00).  Thanks weather man!

On a happy note!  Mom and Dad Delaney are coming to town for the weekend and we are getting our Christmas tree!  Can't wait!

Sore & Tired

Wow!  It's seeming like this week is never going to be over!  After getting home late on Sunday and then teaching 7 classes at the gym with 2 more tomorrow... I'm sore and tired and on this cold, windy, gloomy day I would much rather be laying in bed, catching up on my shows that I had to DVR last night since I had to get up at 4:55 am.

Oh well... have to push through - maybe with a little help from my friend Mt. Dew because I've got a hot date tonight with Ryan... oh yeah - we are going to see the Lion King in 3D!  So excited!!  First birthday activity of the weekend!
