Nora 23 months

Only one month to go until my baby girl is 2! How is that even possible?!? 

1. Loves sweets and cookies / especially oreos

2. Favorite anything is Frozen 

3. Does not like being left out

4. Is slightly mischievous and can find trouble anywhere

5. Still loves markers and writing on anything including herself

6. Is sweet as sweet can be

7. Is sassy as sassy can be and is not afraid to tell you no… a lot

8. Usually sleeps til 3 am in her crib and then with me until morning

9. Loves to dance and has great  moves and loves run around

10.  Loves to sing and is talking up a storm

Nora 22 Months

 Every day I slowly watch my baby grow into a toddler.  Which makes me happy and sad.  I just want to freeze her little for a little longer.  

Highlights

1. Starting to put more words together and also telling you real words what she wants.  You have to listen hard but I can usually understand what she wants.
2. Still obsessed with her 3 paci's.  After the new year, we are going to faze them out.  It will not be pretty.  There will be lots of tears and crying.  But it's time.
3. Loves pretty Christmas lights
4. Doesn't like hot food at all. She'd prefer all her food to be luke warm or cold. 
5. Favorite song is Let it Go and sings it all the time and wants to watch it.
6. Got a couple more teeth - I think at least 2, maybe more. 
7. Does not like wearing gloves so this has been a challenge with the colder weather. 
8. Is the most stubborn of all 3 of the girls. 
9.  Loves milk and yogurt and cheese
10. Loves to help herself to "snacks" in the cupboard

Nora Loves the Bath Again

 After a very long month of screaming every time it was bath time, Nora is back to loving her bath.  Still not sure if some hot water dripped on her after the water turned off or if she slipped and was scared.  She still only wants to sit on her knees and not her butt, but squeals and laughs and doesn't want to get out now. 

Nora 20 months

Time flies when you’re having fun and Nora definitely has fun. She sweet, silly and knows what she wants. 

1. Talking up a storm and loves to repeat your words

2. Loves he baby dolls - especially patting them on the back and putting them down for naps

3. Sings twinkle; twinkle little star

4. Loves to dance and can now shake her hips back and forth

5: Squeals ah the sight of the cats

6. Squeals when she sees anyone in the family after being away from them for a while

7. Jumps at the chance to go outside 

8. Is the best cuddler and gives the best kisses 

9. Loves riding on the tractor with daddy or in the little gator with her sisters 

10. Is a mamas girl and can find me no matter where I am in the house 

11. Loves climbing the stairs… loves it even more when she know she isn’t supposed to and can sneak up

Such a big girl

Nora just wants to be a big girl. She wants to help so much and is always trying to do things the big girls do. 

She carried all the girls bags and lunch boxes to the front door for them. 

Nora 19 months

 Oh my Nora!  She's such a character - very animated, very loving, and also knows what she wants and doesn't want.  She's keeping us on our toes!

1. Talking up a storm.  Can definitely communicate to you what she wants and doesn't want.

2. Loves her baby dolls - feeds them, takes them for walks, give them kisses

3. Favorite show is George and really watched and laughs when she should.  Smart cookie!

4.  Loves all food that is not her dinner, unless for some reason she decides that she wants to eat dinner with us.

5.  Usually a good sleeper but does enjoy coming in bed with mommy at night (cuz mommy is too tired to try and get her back to sleep or listen to her scream).

6. Loves the pool and swims on her own with her little life vest and can get in and out all by herself.  Next summer will be fun trying to keep up with her in the pool.  

7.  Loves going for rides on the tractor with daddy and in the little gator or raptor with Greta and Lola - just grins from ear to ear.

8. Still loves markers and writing on stuff.  Including finding a sharpie and writing on herself.

9. Thinks the cats are the best and will squeal when she sees them and immediately try to catch them.

10. Is loved and adored by so many, wherever she goes, especially church where everyone loves watching her and smiling at her and her smiling back.

Nora also moved up to the blue room at day care.  Still loves her paci's but it's supposed to stay in her room for at night only. 

So much fun to come with this one! 

Nora 18 months

Well I say this a lot but how Nora is 18 months old already I have no idea. She’s just the best ever and really does complete our family. 

1. Is talking a lot and really good at sounding out works. 

2. Loves, loves, loves (maybe is obsessed with) her pacis. She carries around and sleeps with all 3. 

3. Has a little temper and throws things when she’s mad

4. Has walking mastered! And we are working on runny.

5. Loves the tractor and going on rides with daddy. It’s also one of her favorite words. 

6. Has the best laugh and loves to smile. 

7. Loves going outside and swinging and playing in the sand box.

8. Is a great little swimmer 

9. Squeals when she sees the cats and tried to catch them

10. Loved her first trip to the zoo!

Nora 17 months old

I’m feeling quite selfish typing this because I wish time would freeze. Nora might be at one of my most favorite ages. Everything is exciting, and new. And her joy and expressions are so priceless. I wish I could slow down time and enjoy these days a little bit more. 

1. Biggest highlight!! She can walk! 
2. Is super Duper cute, and knows it.
3. Loves to smile at anyone that will look at her, especially went on walks and in church.
4. Loves the little slide climber outside.
5. Loves tractors and lawnmowers. And will squealed with excitement when she sees one and scream lawnmower or tractor.
6. Is a very selective eater and will only eat when hungry. But she does love snacks and has discovered how to get them herself out of the cabinet.
7. Loves to swim around the pool all by herself with her floaty on.
8. Loves books and will go find one and bring it over to your lap and crawl up in it. She especially loves to do this with Greta.
9. Favorite show is curious George and Mickey Mouse. She loves to say oh tootles
10. Loves to sing and dance.

A few other side notes… she has teeth and poor third kid I have no idea how many - she won’t let me count and doesn’t complain too much when new ones comes in. Just moved up to size 5 diapers. And wears mostly 18-24 month clothes. She’s usually a good sleeper, although recently has discovered that she enjoys sleeping with mommy.

Nora 16 months

Another month has come and gone and Noras personality just keeps coming. She’s funny, sassy, loving and smart. 

1. Favorite word is ut oh. 

2. Loves the pool and can really kick her feet 

3. Went to her first movie in the theater yestersyaZ 

4. Became a big cousin today

5. Favorite thing to do outside is swing. 

6. Squeals when she sees the cats and loves Miller. 

7. Dances whenever music comes on

8. Still loves her paci at night

9. Is a mamas girl 

10. Can walk with help from one hand but prefers 2 hands. 

Can’t wait for more summer fun this with sweet girl! 

Nora 15 months

15 months and one of my most favorite ages. The excitement of new things, discovering your voice and the personality!  Nora is so much fun. She’s silly and loud and loves being right in the action. 

1. Has 7 teeth - 5 in the front and 2 molars

2. Can say mama, dada, Greta, ut-oh, and a whole bunch of words only a mom can understand 

3. Loves cheering at soccer games and screaming for Greta!

4. Loves the cats and points and squeals whenever she sees them

5. Loves markers and crayons and will color on anything - walls, chairs, books

6. Enjoys playing outside, swinging, sitting on her tractor 

7. Can walk along the furniture 

8. Wants to climb on everything 

9. Sleeps through the night 

10. Loves baby dolls, books and anything she’s not supposed to have 

Stats for 15 months 

PS - she’s the smallest of all 3 Delaney girls. 

Nora 14 months

Another month pasted and so much new stuff. I think this age is so fun as they are like little sponges and absorb everything. 

Highlights 

1. Finally have teeth... went down 0 to I think 4

2. Is mobile and can get everywhere

3. Can pull up on pretty Mach everything - even stuff that maybe can’t support her

4. Loves to be outside and will cry if you tell her she can’t go out

5. Favorite food is waffles and yogurt smoothies

6. Loves the water - bath, pools, dog bowl... so excited to see her be a fish this summer 

7. Is a hoarder and loves all her pacis

8. Always has something in her hands - a marker is her favorite to carry around 

9. Had her first night away from mommy and did great with daddy and Lola

10. Is developing a little temper when she doesn’t get her way 

So much fun to come and new words and activities! She is just such a fun, silly baby that always wants to be part of the action. 

Nora 13 months

The months just keep cruising by and Nora just keeps growing and learning. I love this age so much and love watching her explore and discover things. 

Top 10

1. Can official crawl! Hurrah! 

2. But prefers to butt scoot because it’s faster and she can still see what everyone is doing. 

3. Love day care and has won everyone over there

4. Is quite vocal when she doesn’t get her way or you make her made

5. Loves barbies, especially the babies

6. Loves brushing hair especially everyone else’s

7. Still no teeth but I think 5 are ready to come through any day

8. Can make a doggie noise and tries all the other noises - we are getting closer 

9. Gets excited when you tell her we are going outside or for a walk 

10. Can get up ok her knees now too. Big progress! 

11. Went to church for the first time - she loves it and smiles and waved at anyone that looked at her. Crazy how she can read people even with masks on. 

So much fun to come this next month as she gets more and more mobile! Look out world! Nora is on the move! 

Happy Birthday Nora!

Wow this was the fastest, longest year ever! I really can’t believe that Nora is 1. I remember today like it was yesterday. Dropping the girls off at school and  heading to the hospital. I was so excited to meet the baby I had prayed for for so long. 

Unlike the other 2’s first year Nora didn't experience much outside our house - thanks to COVID. She’s never been to a restaurant. She only been in a store once when she was 2 weeks old. She’s only been to church once to get baptized. She didn’t get to meet lots of people yet. 

But Thankfully, I didn’t have to travel at all this year and was able to be with her a lot. 

And as always God’s plan was right, He brought her to us when we needed her most. She was the reason for so much joy and laughter over the past year I lost track. Nora makes our world better. For a 1 year old she has a big personality.. She’s happy, silly, opinionated, and lovable. And I can’t wait to see what this next year brings!

Nora 11 months

Another month gone by and another month of fun with Nora. Thanks to her I know how long we’ve been in the pandemic. Poor girl has never been in a restaurant, only been to church once to get baptized, and does not even know the fun of riding in a shopping cart. Hopefully before she’s 2 she’ll get to realize a few of these fun things. 

Highlights of 11 months

1. Rolls everywhere! 

2. Can’t crawl but can’t scoot on her butt and get places. 

3. Still debating on foods and will only eat when she’s hungry. And if she’s not, she refuses food. 

4. Is in the home stretch of her helmet wearing and had been a trooper foe the past 4 months. 

5. Is a great sleeper and usually only get up 1 night a week for a little snack and cuddle

6. Is the most content baby and very chill

7. Has an infectious laugh, usually brought in by her sisters being silly

8. Can say mama, dada, and a hake her head no and yes 

9. Loves to wave hi and bye and even will do it on zoom calls with my colleagues. 

10. Loves, loves, loves mini ice cream cones

So much fun to come! 

Nora 10 months

Seriously? How is it possible that Nora is double digit months?!? Can time please slow down. The best thing about corona is that we’ve had lots of time with her to treasure everything this last baby of ours does. I have t had to travel for work, she hasn’t gone to day care, and I’ve pretty much exclusively nursed her (I’d say she’s has only a handful of bottles). 

A few highlights.. 

1. Shes mastered rolling from from front to back and back to front and is starting to realize that she can get stuff when she does. 

2. Favorite food is yogurt, and second is probably my still apple sauce. She also tried fish, chicken noodle soup mashed up.

3. Loves cruising in her walker and will chase you

4. Doesn’t like being left out

5. Still loves books any and all and will look at for a long time

6. Is a great sleeper usually from 8:45 to about 6

7. Makes hilarious noises and sounds. Can say da da and still working hard on mama. (I’m hoping it’s my Christmas gift)

8. Has the best smirk and knows how and when to use it 

9. Love to play peek a boo and can do it herself and then smiles and smiles 

10. Is pretty much the most laid back baby ever and we love her

Wears size 4 diapers, 12 and 18 month clothes. Still no teeth 

Nora 9 months

Another month down and we love her more each day! Nora is just such a laid back baby and fits in so well with our family. I honestly can’t remember life without her. 

1. Still rocking her helmet and already seeing huge changes to her head

2. Is a great sleeper at night and usually sleeps from 830 to 6

3. Loves to talk and favorite word or only words is till dada - despite my many many attempts at mama. 

4. Love to cruise around in her Walker and is getting better control where she’s going,

5. Books are probably her favorite thing and will sit and look through lots of them. 

6. Tried some new foods.., chicken and carrots from chicken noodle soup, eggs, pancakes. Does not like bananas and makes a funny face with almost anything you feed her. 

7. Loves to watch her sisters play and especially dance

8: Enjoys music and can even dance a little 

9. Can roll from belly to back and did one time from back to belly 

10. Can definitely voice her opinion about things especially when she wants to be heard.

Still no teeth although might be getting close. Wears size 12 month clothes and can even rock a few 18 months.

Nora 8 months old

Wow has time just flown by and that Nora is 8 months old. It doesn’t even seem possible. She is really the best baby and so happy and laid back. She definitely completes our family. 

1. Rolls from belly to back like a champ. Yummy time is almost nonexistent because of it it. 

2. Loves to babble and can say dada 

3. Love her bath time and splashing in the water 

4. Likes food but definitely not bananas. Isn’t super interested yet but I’d say her favorites are squash 

, sweet potatoes and applesauce. 

5. Can make her walker move and gets excited when she does.

6. Loves books. Reading them. Chewing them. Touching them. 

7. Usually sleeps through the night or gets up only once and can sleep til 7 or later if I let her. 

8. Wears mostly 12 month clothes. 

9. Went to the zoo for the first time - first big outing for her. 

10. Loves to laugh and smile and take in everything around her. Never wants to miss out on something. 

Nora has also wore her helmet for almost 6 weeks and gets checked out Friday. I already see huge improvements! 

Nora 7 months

Another month gone by and lots of first for Nora. She’s a pretty chill baby until she’s not and then she lets the world know. She’s a mama’s girl and lights up when daddy walks by. 

1. Started eating baby food. Her favorites are squash and apples. She’s also had avocados, sweet potatoes, peas, pears, plums, puffs, cereal, oh my! 

2. Loves to laugh and can really crack up. 

3. Talks up a storm. 

4. Has the best fake cough and has recently learned to spit and do zerberts. 

5. Can roll from belly to back and if very proud of herself. 

6. Can clap and loves to put her hands in her mouth. 

7. Favorite thing to do it watch her sisters play.

8. Loves the water and even went under a few times.

9. Loves books and music. 

10. Favorite toys are any thing she can chew on for bang on the high chair. 

11. Was a great sleeer and now wakes up a few times a night. Some times to eat and other just needing her paci. 

12. Got her new accessories and is rocking a pink helmet to help fix her flat stop. 

13. Wears 9 or 12 month clothes. 

14. Love standing up in her exersaucer and watching the word go by. 

Love watching her grow! This is one of my absolute favorite ages. Our sweet Nora Bear! 

New foods for Nora

We’ve been slowly getting Nora to eat some baby food and she warming up to the idea, the girls just love feeding her and can actually get her to eat more than me feeding her.

Next up is applause, carrots and beans. 

Happy Baby

Nora is such a happy baby. Her favorite thing to do lately is clap and she does it all the time, especially when you say Yah Nora. Her little face lights up and she claps! Might be my favorite part of the day (and it happens a lot ) .
