Today was a big day for Greta...
First she graduated from Safety Town. I highly recommend this program. Greta has learned so many valuable lessons and she even knows my phone number know! How awesome is that! She got to learn about fire safety and go into a smoke house and learn how to get out - bus safety, police and ambulance, crossing the road and more.
Then she finally graduated from Pre-K. Such a proud but emotional moment. This fall she will start kindergarten and then the fun begins. But to me this also means really releasing my baby into the school world. Up until know, I felt pretty in control of what happened. She had only 17 other kids in her class and I knew them all and a lot of their parents. She had besties that she has gone to school with since she was a baby.
It was finally time for Gretas graduation - and she did great! She sang all the songs. Walked around stage. Sat nicely on her seat.
So hard to believe that I’m just a couple short months - she’ll be in kindergarten. Greta is excited - I am nervous and anxious for her. So hopefully that’s how it will stay. I want her to be confident. She's smart. A leader. She's my baby and I love watching her grow up - just won't want to rush it!
