Christmas at home

I've been so excited for Christmas at our house when Santa comes. Greta finally gets it and with all the elf excitement it was building to the big night.

Lots of wrapping and preparations... and so worth it. Even though it goes by so quickly.

We went to church at 630 (not 6 which is what I thought). Then came home and out on our new Christmas Jammie's - the whole family - and made pizzas. Then opened some presents. Finally we put out cookies and milk for Santa. Some carrots and reindeer food for the reindeer. And to bed we went. Everything was ready.

The next morning about 615, Greta came into our room and crawled into bed and asked if I thought Santa came. I said we'd have to go see when Lola woke up. Luckily that wasn't too much longer.

So fun watching her!

We then opened presents. Put presents together. Played with presents. Had some coffee cake and bacon. And loaded up the sleigh to headed to Unionville.

There is just something so special about the joy of Christmas and seeing it through a child's eyes. I can't wait for many many morning Christmas mornings!
