Off to Belgium

My first trip to out headquarters in Leuven, Belgium... for 11 days.  Trip over was pretty uneventful, so an 8 hour flight.  I left Monday, and the arrived Tuesday morning with just enough time to rest for an hour and then head to work for meetings.  Good thing was that we were able to get out of work at a decent time and then I crashed at about 7:30 and slept until 7:30 the next morning and was ready to go.

Leuven is a very old town with lots of history and I'm not going to lie amazing food, especially the waffles, which I am still craving.

Here are a few of my favorite things.

Amazing farm we had dinner at - the farm has over 50,000 cows and slaughter 2,000  a day

Town Square

Domus Brewery - no partaking there or at any of them for this trip

The Atomium where we had dinner at the top one night.  Amazing view of Brussels.

The famous Belgium waffle... oh waffle - I miss you!

Belgium's famous croquettes... they are like an adult tator tot.

The corn field out the windows of our headquarter - and there were 2 John Deere tractors working - you can see 1 in this picture.

Great trip, but I'm glad to be home!
