Happy Halloween! Great night to stay inside and carve some pumpkins. And no trick-or-treaters :-(
When I look back years from now, I want to be able to reflect on all the events and amazing blessings God has bestowed on us.

Off to Belgium
My first trip to out headquarters in Leuven, Belgium... for 11 days. Trip over was pretty uneventful, so an 8 hour flight. I left Monday, and the arrived Tuesday morning with just enough time to rest for an hour and then head to work for meetings. Good thing was that we were able to get out of work at a decent time and then I crashed at about 7:30 and slept until 7:30 the next morning and was ready to go.
Leuven is a very old town with lots of history and I'm not going to lie amazing food, especially the waffles, which I am still craving.
Here are a few of my favorite things.

Amazing farm we had dinner at - the farm has over 50,000 cows and slaughter 2,000 a day
Town Square
Domus Brewery - no partaking there or at any of them for this trip
The Atomium where we had dinner at the top one night. Amazing view of Brussels.
The famous Belgium waffle... oh waffle - I miss you!
Belgium's famous croquettes... they are like an adult tator tot.
The corn field out the windows of our headquarter - and there were 2 John Deere tractors working - you can see 1 in this picture.
Great trip, but I'm glad to be home!

TVs mounted
While the wife's away, the husband does home improvement projects and tries to kill himself. Not ideal when I am on another continent. We bought wall mounts for the TVs back in March and the mounts have sat in the yellow room until a couple weeks ago when Ryan decided to hang them. I was very excited when I heard this, but shocked when he told me what happened.
The 6 foot aluminum ladder he was standing on buckled. Sending the ladder, Ryan and the TV mount to the ground. The ladder = trash; Ryan's hand mangled and shin gashed up; the mantle dinged up; but the TV mount no damage (good thing the TV wasn't on it yet). And now a couple weeks later, the hand isn't quite as colorful and the shin is starting to heal up. But the best news is that the TV and surround sound is up and working awesome. (Despite the surround sound freaking Miller out occasionally).

He also mounted the TV in the bedroom too, which I love!

Stomach Flu
In my 32 years, I can't remember ever really having the stomach flu. Well I was paid back and of course the day before I left for Belgium. I won't discuss the details but it was bad and I lost like 7 pounds so I then spent the next several days trying to rehydrate, which while you are traveling is not the easiest thing.

New Routine
I am a creature of routine and Baby Delaney has created a new routine for me. Wake up, get ready, go to work, eat breakfast, eat a snack, maybe eat another snack, have lunch, another snack, come home from work, make dinner, fall sleep on couch, go to bed, sleep, pee, and repeat, wake up and do it all again.

It's my birthday
Happy Birthday to me!
Happy Birthday to me!
Happy Birthday dear me!
Happy Birthday to me!
Another year gone by and where has the time gone... 32 years young. But from 30 1/2 to 32 has been the best yet. I met the love of my life, bought my dream house, got engaged, married my love, got pregnant - oh have I not mentioned that yet. Yes - my 32nd year is going to be very memorable as Ryan and I are excited to welcome Baby RAD around April 7th. We have started to break the news to family and friends and it's exciting as it just feels more and more real because until our first ultrasound when we actually saw the baby on the screen I didn't really believe it was real. But now we have proof and are very thankful.
