Things I’m thankful for during the quarantine

1. Slower pace
2. No where to rush to in the morning
3. That it’s not winter and we are stuck totally inside
4. Sunshine
5. Kids that play well together - about 90% of the time
6. Family walks

7. New schedules combined with old schedules
8. Playing games

Quarantined

Well it’s been all over the news for the past weeks and finally it happened - schools closed for 3 weeks. Guess it’s time to embrace some family time and for some homeschooling. Luckily I’m on maternity leave and don’t have to work and can focus on the kids. Life is much slower.
No sports, no after school activities... just family.

Just before I had Nora, I was worried about the flu and me and the girls having been sick and the risk of Nora getting it. So much has changed.  We aren’t leaving the house. We aren’t going to stores. Restaurants are closed. We aren’t letting people into our house. We are hunkering down and patiently waiting for it to pass. My #1 priority is to protect Nora and keep her safe. Putting my trust in God and praying that God sees us through.

Nora 3 week check up

Nora has her 2 week check up  - well she was actually 3 weeks. And all is good. Only thing is her belly button is still on - patiently waiting for that to fall off so we can do a real bath.
