26 months

Another month gone by and another month of great memories!

1. Finally another tooth - which now gives her 12!

2. Is obsessed with her "pac" - I think it's time for it to go.

3. Is obsessed with Curious George - We are slowly working on a 12 step George program.

4. Loves swimming and has no fear of jumping in or doing down the slide.

5. Has her terrible 2 moments

6. Loves the 4-wheeler!

7.  Is so sweet and helpful 

8. Loves animals and is always asking to hold baby animals

9. Is a talker and singer.  When she's in a great mood, she just keeps going and going.

10. Is very empathetic and always tries to make you feel better.    

Long week away

My last - or at least I hope - work trip before the sequel arrives... And to California for our biggest show. And much success.

But I realized a few things...

I still really don't like flying. 

I'm not a fan of being gone for more than 3 nights. 

I'm really learning lots about 3D printing and can actually have a good conversation about it. 

I hate when things aren't done right.

When i was younger and traveling, I looked forward to going out and seeing things and meeting people... And now I look forward to sitting in bed, watching TV and searching the Internet. Sad... But I'm old. Lol! 

I'm lucky to have a job I really enjoy and people I enjoy working with. 

We did get to have a little fun at the reception we hosted... And with the monster. 

Fun at Ruth Lakke North

A fun Memorial Day weekend up north after a long week in California. I landed inDetroit  from a red eye at 615 and we hit the road at 10:30 - even had time to mow and clean up the garden and plant the sweet corn before we left.

Julie and Jason we're bringing Greta with them after she got to spend the week at Grandma's while I traveled. Mans they had a great time too! And I got lots of pictures while away which always helps! 

At the cabin we road lots of 4-wheelers which is Greta's favorite. She only almost fell asleep once so that's an improvement. She and Julie went on lots of Deer Hunts and were quite successful. We also got to take the boat out on the pond (I got quite a shoulder workout and sadly can still feel it).  We also got spoiled by all the great food they brought and the beautiful scenery and good laughs. 

Oh and got to see footage of the bear eating donuts on the camera. Holy big bear!!

Growing up too fast

Greta was super excited that I had painted my toe nails and wanted hers painted. I had put it off and when I took my polish off and she said - mommy you pink toes are gone. I figure it was time to have some fun. So we painted our toes.

She sat so still for me and was grinning ear to ear.

Moments like this

Got a great text from one of Greta's teachers at day care today... 

"Hello I hope your having a great day I just wanted to let you know that Greta told me today that she had baby in her belly just like mommy! And that she loves the baby in mommy belly!! Had to share was too cute."

Just made my day. She's going to make a great big sister!
